Visa Type Validity and Visa Fees for Australians:
15 Day Multiple Entry Visa Valid for 15 days from the date of entry AU $65.00. For on the spot or urgent Visa processing add $15.00 more.
30 Day Multiple Entry Visa Valid for 30 days from the date of entry AU $85.00. For on the spot or urgent Visa processing add $15.00 more.
90 Day Multiple Entry Visa Valid for 90 days from the date of entry AU $175.00. For on the spot or urgent Visa processing add $15.00 more.
Children under the age of 10 can obtain gratis visa for up to 30 days. They are exempt from paying any visa fees.
Australians are eligible for “visa on arrival” at the Tribhuvan International Airport and also some overland points along the India Nepal Border.
Tourist visa can be extended up to 120 days. You can go to the Department of Immigration in Kathmandu and also in Pokhara. Foreigners are allowed up to a stay of 15o days (5 months) per calendar year in Nepal. In Australia you can apply for a maximum of 90 days visa. If you need a longer term visa, you will have to apply on site at the Immigration office in Pokhara and Kathmandu.
