Meghan Markle a voice for Menstrual Hygiene Care

Meghan Markle after marrying Prince Harry will have a new title, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.  With this new title, Meghan will be able to provide a platform for many of the causes that is close to her heart. One such cause is to get rid of the stigma attached to the menstrual period among women globally, especially in developing countries.

In 2017, Meghan traveled to many parts of the world addressing this cause. She was also in India, where the taboo during menstrual period is so severe that women and girls are put in a situation of harm not only physically but also mentally.
