Cholesteatoma is a condition of the ear where a cyst grows in the middle section of the ear. It is understood that Cholesteatoma treatment is possible only through surgery. A patient can experience discomfort and hearing loss before the treatment of Cholesteatoma. This could continue even after the Cholesteatoma surgery.
Sound vibration treatment using traditional practices like the Tibetan signing bowl provide a soothing effect on the ear. The constant irritation from Chlesteatoma could affect the mood, anxiety and pain of the individual. There are some studies listed in the US National Library of Medicine (PubMed) which highlights studies that attest to the fact that sound healing through singing bowls can calm a person and also result in reduction of tension, anger and fatigue.

We are doing much research on the impact of sound vibration on human as well as other beings. Alternative therapy is increasingly getting popular because it is more natural than many western medical practices. It is also less invasive and has minimal or no side effects. It might be interesting to see if vibration treatment will help patients of Cholesteatoma.
Please join us in this journey to understand the impact of vibrations. This will help us become not only healthier but also provide an opportunity to enhance our well-being. Reduction of anxiety and anger will set the ground work for a better understanding of each other based on trust. Could it be the path to a more peaceful world where there is less anger and more compassion for each other.
